So much for my new years resolution to update my blog more frequently - I have failed miserably! I have however been busy making lots of cards, so thought it was about time I showed you some of them.

As I've shown before I take part in the monthly Friendship Swap over on the DoCrafts forum - the last two months I've used the same papers (My Mind's Eye - Bloom & Grow). December's card was sent to DoCrafts member Starrz909 - the stamped image is one of the Gorjuss Girls stamps "Just a Girl", coloured in with Copic Caio pens. The flower embellishments are from Prima.

So when it came to January's Friendship swap with Crafter1, I decided to use the same range of papers but this time I have used my Daisy stamp. I love this stamp and again coloured it with the Copic Caio pens and for the first time I have tried doodlingwith a brown marker pen. I really like the effect so I am sure it won't be the last time I use it. I've coloured some alphabet peel off stickers with an orange permanent pen to spell out "Friend".

As well as the Friendship cards, I've had to make a Wedding card for someone at work - I used a Forever Friends Elements sticker, mounted onto a circle and scalloped circle cut using my Nestabilities (one of my best buys). This in turn was mounted onto pale pink pearlescent card embossed with my Swiss Dots embossing folder run throught my Cuttlebug (another of my best buys).

At the other end of the spectrum, this weekend I have had to make a sympathy card, always the hardest type card to make for obvious reasons. I had bought a lily pyramage sheet, at the last Sincerely Yours show in Taunton. I used the Swiss dots embossing folder again, which just goes to show how versatile this folder is.
