Yesterday, I finished a batch of cards using a digistamp, Snow Play, bought from Digistampboutique.  I had intended to print the image direct to the card but when I coloured the image with Promarkers, you could see the image through the other side of the card so I decided to use a simple coordinating mat instead and decoupage the image.  I then added a few die cut snowflakes to take the plainness off the card.

I can't believe the first week of my two weeks off work is nearly over - my dad is decorating my bathroom and I have to act as the labourer but I am hoping to be able to get some time to carry on with my Christmas cards.  Well, here are four Tatty Teddy cards that I managed to make on Monday but have only  just got around to photographing them: - Ingredients Me To You Ultimate Decoupage & Paper Kit Papermania Cardstock from stash Cuttlebug Embossing folder - snowflakes Marieanne Creatables snowflakes dies Adhesive stones from stash I have managed to make a few more since Monday but haven't photographed them yet so will do so over the next few days. I've been......

Image
......missing in action recently but that doesn't mean I've not been making cards, infact one of them has just been published in issue 91 of Quick Cards Made Easy!!! It was the first time I had written into a magazine and it got published!! I used some Pink Petticoate papers that came free with a previous issue and stamped one of my new LOTV rubber stamps, Milly Just For You and coloured with Promarkers mounted onto a fold back card. Since making this card, I've got a liking for fold back cards and have also made the card below, very similar to the first card but using Milly Flower Power rubber stamp.

I recently had a week off work to spend at home. I decided to start the week off by catching up on all the jobs I haven't had time to do, namely the unmentionable "h*******k" and even cleaned all my kitchen cupboards!!! That all done I then had plenty of time for crafting but first I reorganised my craft cupboards as well and whilst doing that I found several kits that I hadn't really used, so that was my mission. These are the cards I came up with using one such kit - glittered toppers and cards - very simple but I thought I could make them up into sets of notecards. I think I will make a box to display them in

OMG, what did I come home with.....

Image
an empty purse for one!!! Well, I knew that I wanted the Hougie Board and a Marieanne Creatables die but I just couldn't resist the Promarker Pen Chest which holds 75 pens (I thought that would be plenty of room but.... when I filled it I've only got one space free - I can't believe I have that many!!) I also bought an embossing folder/die storage case with some magnetic sheets and a few other bits. Now I really must have a spending ban !!!! I need to save up for the next show in November x
Where have the last few weeks gone? I've not managed to make many cards recently and those that I have made, are still on my camera. I really must get my act together! Not sure if it will be tomorrow though as I am off to the Sincerely Yours Papercraft Show in Taunton. Can't wait, I've not been to a show in ages...... now what shall I buy, I wonder?????? Hope you are having a great weekend. See you soon x

Hunkydory Floral Birthday Cards

I have a habit of buying kits and making a few cards from it and then putting it to one side, which is why I have cupboards full of supplies!! So I am trying to turn over a new leaf and concentrate on one thing at a time and my chosen kit at the moment is Tatty Teddy. This selection of cards are made from the decoupage kit:-
